Launched back in February CDR is a monthly night for aspiring music producers
Whether you're an established beat-maker, a fledgling producer, or an independent music-maker from anywhere in the West Midlands, this is for you.

Submit your tracks for the open session and hear them played on a REAL soundsystem and get a REAL reaction. This is your chance to get your music heard, and meet other music-makers.After two great visiting sessions, CDR is going full-time in Birmingham. Music submitted for the sessions will be shared with the original CDR session in London, making this a great opportunity to get your music out there.DJs: Chris Mapp (Unity/The Sub Ensemble)Blacksmile (Faux Real/Lovemist/OMP)

Tracks for the open session must be submitted by 8.30

The Sugarfoot Stomp night is now into it's 4th year. DJ's Doris, Daisy, Deloros, Delphi, Dorothy and Dakota (that's alot of D's - I'm suspicious) run the monthly night at the Bulls Head in Moseley. It's a £1.50 to get in and starts at 8pm.

The music is from the 1920's to the 1960's and you'll hear artists like Patsy Cline, Benny Goodman, Billie Holiday, Elvis, Bessie Smith, Doris Day, Duke Ellington, Ray Charles, Joe Turner, The Ronettes, Slim and Slam, Wynonie Harris, , Ken Snakehipps Johnson, Buddy Holly, The Dominoes, Fats Waller, Ella Fitzgerald, Sandie Shaw, Nina Simone, Johnny Cash, Louis Jordan.

Habit celebrates it’s first birthday this Friday. The regular night held every 2nd Friday of each month plays everything from house, indie, breaks, techno, disco, funk, electronica, club classics and Hip-Hop.
