Benefit gig for PEZ

The Duplicates, Havana a GoGo, The Cracked Actors and “It’s A Happening” DJ’s play a benefit gig for Perry Stokes (son of Mike Stokes – Bentley Rhythm Ace).

Perry has recently spent a lot of time in hospital due to a serious illness and this very important benefit gig is to raise money so that he and his family can enjoy a thoroughly deserved holiday.

So what can you do? First and Foremost you can support the event by buying a ticket and coming along to the gig. Secondly, you can tell you friends and family about this and get them to but a ticket and come along. Thirdly, dig out and shine up your dancing shoes.

Emile picked up vinyl as a schoolboy, and the affair started there! Playing Garage, he gained an appreciation for House, but his focus lay with the darkness that came to be known as Dubstep and Grime. The natural progression was to move on to production, which he started at age 15. The older he got, the more he developed..... guess its a ceaseless process!

Glacius is a 20 year old DJ/Producer who has been into Grime and Dubstep since it started. He has been DJing for about 4 years now and started making tracks about a year ago. He started DJing when he was in year 10 at secondary school.When he finished secondary school he came across a crew called Urban Menaces from Leicester. He joined them and we made sets with people from all over. His crew then got recognised and they had a couple of sets at Club 361 in Leicester. After a while a lot of the members split up. Some of them kept contact still and started making sets regularly.He’s been playing a lot of Dubstep for quite a while and has linked up with a few members from Leicester and played out at a night called KONTAKT which is a big monthly event. He has more recently moved near Birmingham and has now started a night called WHAT? DUBSTEP!!
