The Hacienda must be rebuilt….and it’s coming to Birmingham.

As the UK gets ready to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Acid House, the Warehouse is having a party to take you back to those early days.

((Back is a new night to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the UK House music scene. The scene exploded during the 1988 summer of love, changing a small underground sound in a global movement. Along the way, there has been some memorable tracks, events, dj’s and venues. ((Back are not here to argue about who, where or when the first house records were produced and played. ((Back are here to embrace a cultural movement, and bring together creative and like minded people to celebrate this milestone.

((Back is open to EVERYBODY who has and continues to contribute to the scene in some shape or form: DJ’s, producers, promoters, dancers, acts, artists, music lovers and most of all, the clubber and party people, without none of this would have been possible. For 15 weeks this summer ((back are taking over Birmingham’s hottest space THE BEACH. 40 tonnes of sand, tropical trees and cover from rain. The opening party is Friday 13th June and the closing party is Friday 19th September.

This year has GREAT musical significance so for 15 weeks this summer celebrate the past, present and future of house music and take pride in culture, friendships and good times that have been collectively helped create worldwide
