Rehab Promotions present Severenth + Rue the Day + Asingod

Severenth:
'Severenth is possibly the most brutal live act on the local scene, with watertight riffs coupled to crisp rhythm patterns these guys will leave you breathless.Fronted by Peet Bailey and his borderline falsetto vocal, you can't miss them.'

Chester Evening Leader 21/06/07

'Finally, taking to the stage with great anticipation were the newly signed Severenth. As expected the lads delivered a bludgeoning set of killer metal. Dani and Ben provided a rock solid wall of double bass drum and snarling bass, complementing the twin guitar assault of chunky riffs and melodic solos from Jay and Steve E. Whilst front man Pete's wide ranging vocals soar above this severe pounding, from low growls to high pitch screams, anger and melody, matched only by his on stage antics, equally entertaining! The lads showed what true professionals they are, keeping the crowd captivated, even when half the PA died.'

Rue the Day:
Recently back from a successful tour of Eastern Europe, concluding in a headline slot at the Party in the Prague Festival, Rue The Day’s music has featured on MTV 2's Headbangers Ball, a ‘history of thrash’ Big Cheese covermount CD and a number of extreme sports films - while the band themselves have ripped apart a string of high-profile venues; Camden Underworld, Oxford Zodiac and the Birmingham Barfly to name but a few.
Proving a particular favourite with legendary Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson, with regular airplay on his BBC Radio 6 metal show, RTD have been widely touted as ones to watch amongst the underground metal press – Devolution magazine christening them as ‘your new favourite band’.
Asingod:
From the murky depths of the Black Country come Asingod. The band are a relentless metal assault that is as uncompromising, bleak and gritty as their industrial surroundings. Their soul and passion for their art is more than clear on stage.

"The first band of the evening was Black Country based Metal four-piece Asingod. Death Metal as it should be – loud, aggressive and twitching with energy – they gave an impressive performance that set a high standard for the other bands to follow. Sharp, heavy riffs, dark tumbling basslines, powerful vocal growls and flawlessly executed, complex drumming patterns saw them standout as a band who knows how to get the most out of their sound. Giving it all they had at The Rainbow, it was an impressively intense set from a band with some excellent material and serious potential."
Surface Unsigned - Steven Hudyba

"The sixth band of the evening was Black Country based four-piece Asingod. One of the heaviest acts of the evening – their sound is loud, aggressive Death Metal performed with furious energy and technical precision and it made for a suitably dark and intense set. Heavy, driving riffs, rumbling basslines, relentless percussion and a powerful rasp/roar vocal combination make for a sound that’s pure Death Metal and went down well with the Monday evening crowd, even prompting them to burst into some sporadic so-far-unseen mosh action, which I guess, when all is said and done, is the ultimate compliment. "
