444 Club presents Two Down At Half Time + Butterfly Fan The Inferno

Two Down At Half Time:
Two Down At Halftime are a pop punk band, formed in mid September 2007. The band made its live debut at the Hertford Corn Exchange in early October and put their first EP up for free download in December. By February they played their first headline show at the White Hart pub in Whitechapel. The trio played their fifth show to the packed out audience at the WGC Green Room, before beginning to write a second EP in March, and hopes to begin gigging again in the near future, supporting this new material.
The band takes its biggest influences from the likes of Blink 182 and Bowling For Soup, playing a fast paced, adrenalin pumping sound with simple yet melodic guitar harmonies. The group have broadened their musical horizons by covering some unlikely artists, including renditions of Cyndi Lauper’s ’Time after time’ and Aqua’s ’Barbie Girl’ and even the dance song ’I like to move it’.

Butterfly Fan The Inferno:
The band first came together in Boston, MA in early 2006 and played its first show in June of that year (on 6/6/6!) They recorded 2 EPs and played around 20 shows in the Northeast. An album was completed in early 2008 with some band members and some studio musicians laying the tracks. A relocation took place to Birmingham in Feb 2008 and a new line-up is coming together to play gigs and promote the album.

Platform Promotions presents Cold Shot Trio + The Redcaps + Burning Thirteen

Cold Shot Trio:
Cold Shot Trio are a dynamic and unique Midlands based band, a fiery venom of eclectic blends, that can be tagged to Jazz, Rock, Blues with a traditional familiar Texas Soul feel that runs deeper than your back-bone. The 'soul' intention is to make heads bop. The 3 strong force: Tom, Lars, Phil forged an instant binding friendship and a united musical dream. We feel strongly that the music we produce does not shamelessly pander to any particular fashion or fad and most importantly, not driven by the hope that we'll make radio 1 some day. This ideal has given Cold Shot Trio a freshness that has impressed its audiences.

Lizzy Parks: (from her myspace)
If its an in depth explanation of my life and career so far you'd better catch me after a gig with a big bottle of gin! ...but for those of you without the time or inclination, the basics goes like this...im a Devon lass whose lived and loved music for as long as I can remember. Tooting the clarinet and saxophone from the age of 7 gave me my thirst for jazz, then after discovering my voice with the school big band during a rendition of 'Skylark' aged 11 there was no stopping me! I went on to study music in all sorts of places from clubs to conservatoires and got my first taste of session work with Chris Bowden, performing 'Crockers and Killers' on his 'Slightly askew' album for Ninja Tuneback in 2001. After recording for various other artists I released my debut album 'WATCHING SPACE' in 2005 with an indie label 'The Birds'. Since then i've become part of the 'TRU THOUGHTS' family with whom i'm about to release my spankingly new, exciting and ecclectic album 'RAISE THE ROOF', co-written and produced with bass player Riaan Vosloo and 'NOSTALGIA 77's' Ben Lamdin, due for release Sept 22nd 2008. I can mostly be found gigging in dens and dives all over the UK and Europe! I've got a habit of appearing on stage with 'NOSTALGIA 77' (Tru Thoughts) and 'THE HERITAGE ORCHESTRA' (Brownswood) amoungst others. ...a jazzy lassy? a soulful bird? Call it what you like...lets just hope you like it! the end...or maybe its just the start!?! LP x For the official story visit www.lizzyparks.co.uk

444 Club present Tempting Rosie + At The Zoo + Knockout Ned + The Disco Contenders

Tempting Rosie:
'And Tempting Rosie did come down from the heavens and said "let there be ska!" and the sound of trumpets echoed through the valley'.

Tempting Rosie are a sextet of young men of whom five decided one day during a music lesson, to form a band combining different sounds that aren’t what you would exactly expect from 'ska'. This currently energetic 7-piece is now complete and at its best!

By blending our own catchy style of ska with other types of music such as funk and indie, we try to create a very catchy, fun-loving style of music.

Tempting Rosie are known for getting the crowd dancing and being crazy on stage. Although, fitting the whole band on most stages with all the required equipment is sometimes a great achievement in itself!

At the Zoo:
At The Zoo, are currently Midlands based but have played a number of gigs across the country, playing with or support slots with; Good Shoes (Brille Records) The Wombats (14th Floor Records) Scouting for Girls (Epic) Elle Milano (Brighton Electric) Slow Club (Moshi Moshi) Untitled Music Project (Tigertrap Records) Arcadian Kicks (Unsigned) Saturdays & Sundays (Releases on Organic Records) The Lines (Unsigned) IV Thieves (New West Records) Brandon Streep (Unsigned) Cromwells League (Unsigned)

Knockout Ned (from their myspace):

Birmingham rock band KNOCKOUT NED!

We formed in 2005 when we decided that being in a band would be better then talking about being in a band. We started off playing covers of Green Day and Black Sabbath, and quickly drew these inspirations in to our own brand of music. With a love of all different rock bands, we make what we believe to be exciting and loud music. Come along to our next gig and experience it for yourself.

We have had many kind words said about our performances over the three years we've been a band, and we will continue to write better music. The growth of the band can be heard most evidently in the brilliant recording of 'Lost in the City', one of the most recent tracks we have written. We have continued our writing to create the live anthem 'I'm a Name, I'm a Face, I'm a Statistic'. These are the tracks we write and play.

We are an energetic and loud punk rock outfit.

Capsule presents a caravan of raw sound magic from Finland and the USA

Line-up:

KEMIALLISET YSTÄVÄT & AXOLOTL
ES & FURSAXA
ISLAJA, BLEVIN BLECTUM & SAMARA LUBELSKI
DREAM TRIANGLE (TOMUTONTTU & SKATERS)

Curated and produced by NO-FI and [NO.SIGNAL] supported by The Wire magazine to present APPROXIMATELY INFINITE UNIVERSE - A CARAVAN OF RAW SOUND MAGIC FROM FINLAND AND THE US.

Featuring special commissions and unique collaborations from some of the most innovative and exciting acts of Finland’s underground with the superb ISLAJA, the multi-layered KEMIALLISET YSTÄVÄT, the drones of ES and the noise of TOMUNTONTTU (Jan Anderzén) – most represented by the influential and exploratory label FONAL. Each will musically entangle themselves amongst an uncompromising host of Americans, including the home-recorded acid folk of Fursaxa; the MV & EE member SAMARA LUBELSKI, the ‘Terry Riley-fused with Kate Bush’ impossibility of Axolotl, the ‘coal-powered spacecraft from some steampunk parallel universe’ that is BLEVIN BLECTUM and the noise duo from SKATERS.

Each performance a unique and brand new collaboration, each of the acts features a combination of Finnish artists from FONAL, who have invited a US counterpart to collaborate on a composition, highlighting the parallels in strands of the recent evolving trend of ‘weird/avant folk’ between the US West coast and Finland’s northern communities.

The performances will be made of material composed in the months leading up to the tour and worked in 2 days rehearsal. The concerts will take the form of two acts with the 4 groupings rotating during each act.

ES (FI)
ES is the solo recording name of Fonal boss Sami Sänpäkkilä - tagged as 'Experimental Songcycles' by The Wire's David Keenan - and one of the main figures in contemporary Finnish free folk mouvement. Sami is not only a musician but also a renowned filmaker.

FURSAXA (US)
Tara Burke of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania employs voice, guitar, organ, dulcimer, accordion, Casio and more to create her home-recorded acid folk as Fursaxa. Her debut album Mandrake was produced, engineered, and released in Japan by none other than Kawabata Makoto of Acid Mothers Temple.

ISLAJA (FI)
Islaja is Merja Kokkonen, a young visual artist and musician based in Helsinki, Finland. She has discretely become one of the few figures hiding behind the recent fad of "folk weirdness" whilst being part of a somehow communal move of a "Finnish psychedelia" that has spread its wings within the underground sounds over the last two years.

SAMARA LUBELSKI (US)
Samara is a native New Yorker who grew up in the haze of artist infestation of Soho. Through the time of playing in various groups she has compiled an impressive resume that covers myriad of genres such as her work with the avant/psych/folk outfit of Hall Of Fame into the lair of those bohemian German musos Metabolismus and onto the indie rock interpretations of The Sonora Pine with some serious treks into the world of The Tower Recordings and off world with Jackie O Motherfucker, to name just a few.

BLEVIN BLECTUM (US)
Blevin Blectum is an electronic musician. Recently relocated from the industrial armpit of Oakland, California, to the humid lovecraftian greenery of Providence, Rhode Island, Blevin releases her fourth solo album, GULAR FLUTTER, on an unsuspecting public via the AAGOO label (New York). Blevin is one half of the recently reformed and reunited groundbreaking digital duo Blectum From Blechdom, recipients of the 2001 Ars Electronica Award of Distinction in Digital Musics.

KEMIALLISET YSTÄVÄT (FI)
The name of a recording project of musician Jan Anderzén of Tampere, Finland. Anderzén began recording under the name in 1995 and although he has enlisted numerous musicians over the years, most Kemialliset Ystävät recordings are solo productions. Often labeled as psych folk, his recordings have included such diverse instruments as detuned guitars, mandolins, balalaikas, toys, hand percussion, and samples from recordings by Sun Ra, Karlheinz Stockhausen and Vibracathedral Orchestra.

AXOLOTL (US)
Axolotl is Karl Bauer, classically-trained violinist and a dedicated student of gnosticism, alchemy, astrology, and certain other materialist tendencies in psychology and philosophy. Bauer belongs to a small but potent association of young musicians, who draw upon the gestural economy and textural range of minimalism, and the visceral force of noise, while eschewing fashionable prohibitions against musicality, raw beauty, and thematic complexity.

TOMUTONTTU (FI)
The visual artist and musician Jan Anderzén (1978) is one of the central figures of the Finnish underground, and his band Kemialliset ystävät has gained international popularity among fans of experimental and psychedelic music.

SKATERS (US)
“Staggering low-grade psychedelic murk and splintered free jazz soul” says David Keenan (The Wire). The skaters are from southern California and consist of Spencer Clark and James Ferraro who met in 2002. The duo say that the substance of their music is defined by “the interplay of ideas and the transformation of themselves into characters while playing and while living and using the inner dialogue that comes with cognizing the symbols of the outside world as a ground for the music to stand”. The music for them becomes deeply psychological because they experience “hallucinogenic sensations” while playing. The "thing" they think is a phenomenon can only be experienced through playing.

Acoustic Brew present Ben Pike + Kings of the Heath + Butler Williams + Raina

Ben Pike:
Ben Pike is a singer/songwriter based in Leeds who plays soulful bluesy folk. Drawing heavily on influences such as Kelly Joe Phelps, Nick Drake, John Martyn etc. Ben has forged his own style of bluesy finger picked guitar and a subtle soulful voice. Ben is playing regularly in and around Leeds as well as venturing down to London from time to time.

Butler Williams:

"...BUTLER WILLIAMS...live equation is nothing less than a revelation...their sound is that found at the cutting edge of modern Mancunian acoustica. “Got no job but I got leads..” goes one line almost like a calling card, as Chris Butler and Noel Williams demonstrate that they are purveyors of great vocals and some damn impressive guitar work too. Witty, beautiful and adventurous are terms that you’d expect to find on a dating website, but Butler Williams are literally wearing the T-Shirt. Well not literally, but they do wheel out a mini glockenspiel on “Only A Few” and of course the now famously reported Theremin. There’s a song about getting a good kicking at a Withington Kebab shop but it's sound tracked by a remarkable timbre and cocktail of sounds that conjure up more flavours than a fine red wine; the soundtrack to Tales From The Riverback 2008; Damien Rice on Hathersage Road; Badly Drawn Boy in Tescos; The Smiths if they had been sponsored by Takemine. Just make one up – it doesn’t matter really, as with all good music, the tunes do the talking with “You’re My Star” being just one good example. Ones to watch - and I’ll certainly be doing that again..."

Coldrice present Heavy Trash (Jon Spencer + Matt Verta-Ray) + Powersolo +Rob K & Uncle Butcher are The Jam Messengers + Guest DJ’s Lady Bambi & Witchell

Heavy Trash:
Jon Spencer and Matt Verta-Ray are... Heavy Trash! On stage and in the studio, Jon Spencer, has destroyed and rebuilt American roots music with such ferocity and wild abandon it is hard to believe that there is anything left. The trail of musical destruction in the wake of his groovy hate-fuck combo Pussy Galore still smolders with the stench of avant punk trash and nasty garage ooze and grind, while his towering work with the Jon Spencer Blues explosion remains an indelible totem to his enormous mojo spirit and red-hot power of deliverance. He is Daddy Boss Hog! He is the Blues Exploder and Microphone Destroyer! A Gibson Brother! The man who shared a Chicken Dog with Rufus Thomas, got Soul with R.L. Burnside, and enjoyed a greasy Lap Dance with Andre Williams! He is The Man Who Loved too Much!!! And while the Blues Explosion is on a rock'n'roll holiday, Jon has not rested! He has not worked on his tan, he has not read the latest summer blockbuster!! NO!! Jon Spencer has chosen the righteous path, and got Way Out with his pal Matt Verta-Ray and the Heavy Trash!!! Matt Verta-Ray grew up in the loving arms of left wing parents who would take him to folk and blues shows long before he sprouted sideburns. (His mother passed away in the '90s, still angry that Dylan had gone electric, despite the fact - Matt is quick to point out - that she owned tons of Sun rockabilly 78s, which he very gratefully still has.) In the late '70s, young Matt found himself one of only twelve people who went to see Bo Diddley at a Canadian fairground. After the show, Bo came out and preached to Matt for an hour about the dark secrets of rock'n'roll. And the rest, as they say, is history - from sitting on the edge of the stage with Bo, to thumping bass for Madder Rose, and then onto his hard-wired decontructionist rootsabilly band Speedball Baby, where he developed his slashing-dagger guitar style - to forming Heavy Trash with his friend Jon Spencer. Matt is also the mad scientist behind the jungle of tube amps and old-school echo machines that form the mutated nucleus of his analog cave, world-class recording studio NY Hed, where musicians come from all over the galaxy to get... Way Out!!!

Powersolo;
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF when you hear the name "PowerSolo"? 'Round Denmark way, the moniker apparently conjures the trash-rock legacy of Hasil Adkins, the Cramps, André Williams and Southern Culture on the Skids. Powersolo may be a power trio, but in this case, the prog-metal acrobatics of rush are replaced with something they call "donkey punk." Two tremolo-loving chicken-scratch, rail-thin guitarists Kim Kix and Atomic Child. And drummer J.C. Benz playing his trade on just a snare, bass drum, and floor tom. It would've been good enough had PowerSolo hailed from the Land of NASCAR. But the fact that this exercise in B-movie punk-a-billy is coming from Aarhus, Denmark, adds plenty of delicious cognitive dissonance. "The next song goes out to Grandma. It's called "Stupid Little Bitch!""

Bunka present Rebekah + Matt Tilley + Leon Garcia

REBEKAH:

Rebekah’s love affair with electronic music began at the tender age of 17, going out and listening to legends such as Dave Clarke, Derrick Carter, Richie Hawtin and Billy Nasty at Birmingham’s legendary Que Club. This gave Rebekah her first taste into the world of deep house and techno.

In the six years that she has been Djing professionally, Rebekah has toured every inch of the globe, performing at some of the most exclusive parties and rocking clubs in the world. On her travels she has DJ’d in countries such as South Africa, Australia, Central America, Brazil, Italy, Russia, Dubai, Hong Kong and Thailand. She was featured on MTV for a party at Jianpula, Malta which was broadcasted to the whole of Europe! She is also no stranger to house music haven Ibiza where she has played on the terrace at Space as well as at El Divino.

Being on the circuit over the last few year’s means that Rebekah has played at some of the coolest nights and venues in the UK. These include regular performances at clubs such as Sankeys in Manchester and Turnmills in London as well as having Shindig, The Egg, the Cross, the Key, Canvas and the Honey Club performances under her belt.

Rebekah’s current UK commitments include a residency at popular underground venue; The Custard Factory in Birmingham where she performs regularly alongside world class acts such as Josh Wink, Steve Lawler, Andrew Weatherall, Eric Prydz, Switch, Paul Woolford, Lottie and Tania Vulcano to name a few.

Rebekah has also become a regular at some of the worlds most recognised and established festivals! Donning her welly’s, Rebekah has performed in front of massive audiences at UK festivals such as Escape into the Park, Wakestock and Global Gathering where she has performed on the Circo Loco stage in 2007 and Cocoon arena in 2008. Further a field, she is a regular at Serbia’s Exit festival having played on the techno stage for two consecutive years alongside acts such as Martin Landsky and Argy and will be making another appearance in 2009…. Testament to the fact that promoters always rebook Rebekah after seeing her perform live!

One million listeners tuned in to hear one of Rebekah’s biggest achievements to date, a Radio 1 interview by the notorious Fergie on a peak time Saturday evening. After he played her tech house, minimal and techno mix it was no surprise when Notion magazine approached Rebekah to do a three page spread on her as one of the UK’S hottest up and coming DJ’s. The press interest doesn’t stop there, M8 had their eye on Rebekah giving her a front cover and interview, pinning her down as a key breakthrough DJ.

In the past couple of years, more focus has been applied to the studio side of things working closely with established producers and fellow DJ’s Simon Baker, Deepgroove and Leaim Sullivan. Her first release “Toad in a Hole” came out in April 2007 on German label Criminal Records and has had growing support from the likes of Steve Lawler, Gabriel Ananda, Monoroom and Oliver Klein. Over the summer this track became one of Ibiza’s underground anthems finding its way onto Amnesia’s Underground 7 compilation which is a huge achievement for Rebekah especially for a first release.

February 2008 saw the release of a second solo EP on Criminal Records which contained the tracks Neo and Freakonomics. This E.P gained support from Funk d’Void, Yousef, Greg Vickers, Oliver Koletzki, Anderson Noise and Mistress de Funk who regularly played Neo on her BBC Radio 1 show. Loving the release so much a second airplay of the second track Freakonomics went out for her 2008 Christmas special.

In recent months on the DJ front, Rebekah has performed at some amazing parties such as playing in front of 2,000 people for Sven Vaths Cocoon - Sound of the Eighth Music tour at the legendary Que Club in Birmingham in May 2008 which was cited as the stand out electronic music event in the Midlands of the year. She was also asked to play the Global Gathering festival again in 2008 for a second year running this time in the Cocoon arena alongside Sven Vath, Adam Beyer, Loco Dice and Dubfire where she played a 3 hour warm up set for some of the most influential artists on the scene!

In 2008, Rebekah was approached by the prestigious Awakenings based in Holland and performed alongside Gaiser, Tony Rohr and Alexi Delano at Factory 10, Rotterdam…. One of her stand out gigs of the year! Rebekah also attended the WMC in 2008 for a consecutive year playing a rooftop terrace party above the Sony Building with Miss Nine; taking her sound of tech house and techno to an almost progressive crowd as well as fitting in a performance at the Back to Basics Miami party with Simon Baker. She was cited by Back to Basics promoter Dave Beer as the stand out DJ from the evening!

Alongside these Rebekah has played at Qube in Rome and Frau Marleen in Torre del Lago, impressing the owners so much she has been made a bi-monthly resident. She also fitted in an exclusive Fashion TV party in Geneva bringing the underground sounds of minimal and techno to high class galmour models and local socialites!

With the international side of things picking up there was still time to play the UK for In Bed with Space at Sankeys, Eclectricity at the Custard Factory Birmingham, Glitch in Cleethorpes, Junk in Southampton, Dlate at Egg alongside Jona and Asuca in Loughbrough. Additionally to this Rebekah has been asked to be an official monthly resident for Lost Souls:Techno Club at Public Life Saturday daytime parties already playing alongside Drumcode’s Perc and Oliver Ho with other regular guests such as Chris Liebing.

After a stint on the Gadget show Rebekah met up with the Pacemaker team trying out the new hand held mixing console and fell in love with the concept straight away. Another brief encounter in Miami at WMC has lead to Rebekah becoming an official ambassador of the Pacemaker. Showcasing the revolutionary product at parties, clubs and BBQ’s all over the UK!

In the next few months Rebekah will be playing at the second Cocoon party in Birmingham supporting Josh Wink, a second gig at Glitch in Cleethorpes, Ibiza Underground in Brixton, London, monthly residency for In Bed with Space in London and Sankeys in Manchester. Her continuing Birmingham residency for Eclectricity at the Custard Factory sees performances alongside Andrew Weatherall and Terry Francis in the diary as well as continuing her monthly dates at Lost Souls:Techno Club in London.

On the production side of things a new remix on Phobic Records is due out in October by Sona Sound - In the Studio, with early support from Mistress de Funk and Smokin Jo. Rebekah’s next solo release is Sonar Eclipse due out on CS Records in November with many other productions and remixes in the pipeline!

It goes without saying that the future is bright and diary packed for this lady of techno and minimal and her peers are starting to take note and give her the respect she deserves…. Anyone that has seen her play out live know first hand that there are no gimmicks or clichés about this female DJ…. just unadulterated raw talent and a passion for underground house and techno.

Rock_Metal_Funk_Alternative

Platform Promotions present Sicum + MCM + Long Day Gone

Sicum:
With the energy of Rage Against The Machine, the funk of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the middle finger of Eminem, Sicum are anything but your average band. Sicum are not here to be cool or gain your respect, only to give you the chance to break free from today. Gaining more support, from fans and fellow bands alike, every gig they play, including headlining the Midlands Regional Gig at the Barfly, Sicum are definitely going places and everyone’s invited. Mixing funky hip-hop bass lines and rock/rap drum beats layered under funk-rock and alternative guitar riffs and thought provoking lyrics Sicum have managed to create a raw sound that feels completely fresh and inviting but gives no apologies. By allowing each member to individually express themselves through their instrument they have created a tight and very solid sound. This all combines and comes across very strong in their live performances where they’re not scared of connecting with the crowd. “The crowd is as much a part of each song as we are”. All minds want to break free, now there is someone to open the door. Sicum, music but not as you know it.

Long Day Gone:
Long Day Gone will be releasing they’re second single “Don’t Say Goodbye” on the 27th of October 2008. On the back of the band's success of reaching No.27 in the UK Indie Charts with their debut single "Live Or Die", Long Day Gone are striving to reach even greater heights in the coming months with brand new tracks and rip roaring live shows. It’s look’s like a very exciting end to a very successful year for the band, with plans already in place for 2009.
Dangerously addictive, LDG have a sound that stands head and shoulders over the current British guitar based sound and not a pair of skinny jeans in sight!!
For the past three years, they have been crafting away at their tracks from their base in the Midlands to bring to the public's ears music that's simply awe-inspiring. Long Day Gone's depth is derived from the sounds of many of their Rock contemporaries. This depth of character ebbs and flows through LDG's songs that when mixed with their creativity generates their own distinctive sound, from the crushing sounds of "Fall Out" to the haunting out & out British rock influenced "Don't Say Goodbye".
LDG's ventures cover London, the North West and their home turf in the Midlands. Regular airplay on Kerrang Radio, constant views on Myspace and a large social network ensures a crowd at their shows. Long Day Gone's gigs include Storm in Leicester Square, The Cavern Club in Liverpool, Jug of Ale, Birmingham Barfly, and their sold out shows at the Little Civic in Wolverhampton which saw 170 people pack the place out to celebrate the launch of their debut single.
Just as much as their song writing is prolific, Long Day Gone are also frequent visitors to the recording studio and have worked very hard to nurture and develop their sound.

Paul Henry, DJ/Producer from Birmingham UK with releases on LAD Records (Portugal). A label currently serving some of the most talented and respected underground house producers such 'Alex Santos' from (Buzzin'fly records) and Luis Leite the duo who form (Darkmountain group) and many more. Paul influenced by 'Deep House' US, soulful, latin/afro-beat, and electronica, is soley here to promote his beloved genre, 'House music' and not just himself.... At an early age Paul enjoyed house music, especially the underground sounds from New York, Detroit and Chicago. Interest in house music came via his older sister Beverley, who lives in USA, San Diego California and has done for over 15 years. Because of this he kept an eye on what the US was all about, but essentially he focussed on the US musically. Expanding on his interest, Paul regularly tuned in to watch music shows screened on MTV every morning in the early hours, to build up his awareness, further knowledge and feel for the music, watching events which were filmed from various locations across the America playing all the latest house tracks to clubbers and viewers at different venues, and different places across the United states and South america. He also tuned into his local Birmingham radio station what was then Choice FM to listen to all the new and current house tracks being played in the UK and across the globe. Back then house music had embraced him and gaining further inspiration from local house dj's, Paul got hooked. It was then natural for him to get involved with house music. He has carries his love and enthusiasm for deep house right through to this present day in which he now regularly performs across venues and big events across the UK and now into Europe. He will always continue to play what he loves and believes in. Paul is known for his great track selection, and his exciting DJ performances where ever he plays. Performances he enjoys most types, from bars, clubs, terraces, unique spots, random places, to exclusive night spots. As long as there is a professional set up in place he'll enjoy playing. In 2007 to date things went from strength to strength for him, landing bookings at major events in the UK and Ibiza alongside artists such as, Franck Roger, Kenny Dope, Joey Negro, Sandy Rivera, Andy Ward (Soul central), Mr C, Chris Woodward, the Audiowhores, Louie Vega, Manoo, Frankie Feliciano, Halo, Chuck Love plus many more, Halo, and also to mention a main room performance at PACHA LONDON (See video clips on the left of Paul in the action at Pacha London, and the also the Warehouse in Birmingham alongside Louie Vega). Paul has made his mark and is looking forward to making an even bigger impact from now onwards. His track 'Joy' is OUT NOW available on most digital and vinyl outlets, 'in the distance' is also OUT NOW.

The Go Club present The Clouds + Miss Halliwell +The Mallory Heart

The Clouds: (from their Myspace)
Good evening. A lot of bands enjoy life. A lot of bands want to create art. A lot of bands have integrity. We are not a band. If you stimulate us with food, wine or femininity, we will play instruments for you, but other than that, we are but men. If you want to penetrate us, please get deeper into this page and come all over us with your rock and roll emails. If you like the songs here, send us some money, because thats how it works in the real world, and when we're famous we will lick your gangrenous stumps with all our might.

The Mallory Heart:
The Mallory Heart are Nicole, Fi and Sarah based in Birmingham. Along with a drum machine, Nicole and Fi merged late 2006 through a mutual love of The Clash. Whilst marvelling at the greatness of local band Miss Halliwell and their drummer Sarah, Nicole and Fi quickly set about the business of recruiting Sarah into Mallory ranks and the rest, as the proverb goes, is history.

The Mallory Heart bring you a mixture of grunge and lo fi punk with a feminine, intellectual twist.

Rehab Promotions present Vegas Assault + Supanaut + Voodoo Johnson + Blinc 182

Vegas Assault:
They have been described as a powerful live entity in a town that has seemingly tried to extinguish all ways of putting across new and exciting live music. Determined not to fall to the same fate as many others, the self-proclaimed wrecking machine that is Vegas Assault have set about on a collision course to make something of themselves and prove any doubters wrong.

The four piece formed in the latter stages of 2006 and immediately provided themselves as an outlet for people who were sick of the normality of the local talent around these parts. Combining a modern edge with love and respect for bands that have influenced them since they were in single digits means that VA creates explosive and memorable performances for whoever wants to witness something heartfelt and real.

The band did not rush their entrance into the field of live music, instead deciding to hone their craft and make sure they were a well-oiled unit. That’s not to say they are now the finished product, far from it, but they are a product that is continually improving and impressing. Vegas Assault are a band who pride themselves on their live shows. They'll guarantee you a strong, serious musical showing mixed with a light, party and often comedic atmosphere that can appeal to a wide range of audiences.
