Indie_Ska_Punk_Alternative

444 Club present Tempting Rosie + At The Zoo + Knockout Ned + The Disco Contenders

Tempting Rosie:
'And Tempting Rosie did come down from the heavens and said "let there be ska!" and the sound of trumpets echoed through the valley'.

Tempting Rosie are a sextet of young men of whom five decided one day during a music lesson, to form a band combining different sounds that aren’t what you would exactly expect from 'ska'. This currently energetic 7-piece is now complete and at its best!

By blending our own catchy style of ska with other types of music such as funk and indie, we try to create a very catchy, fun-loving style of music.

Tempting Rosie are known for getting the crowd dancing and being crazy on stage. Although, fitting the whole band on most stages with all the required equipment is sometimes a great achievement in itself!

At the Zoo:
At The Zoo, are currently Midlands based but have played a number of gigs across the country, playing with or support slots with; Good Shoes (Brille Records) The Wombats (14th Floor Records) Scouting for Girls (Epic) Elle Milano (Brighton Electric) Slow Club (Moshi Moshi) Untitled Music Project (Tigertrap Records) Arcadian Kicks (Unsigned) Saturdays & Sundays (Releases on Organic Records) The Lines (Unsigned) IV Thieves (New West Records) Brandon Streep (Unsigned) Cromwells League (Unsigned)

Knockout Ned (from their myspace):

Birmingham rock band KNOCKOUT NED!

We formed in 2005 when we decided that being in a band would be better then talking about being in a band. We started off playing covers of Green Day and Black Sabbath, and quickly drew these inspirations in to our own brand of music. With a love of all different rock bands, we make what we believe to be exciting and loud music. Come along to our next gig and experience it for yourself.

We have had many kind words said about our performances over the three years we've been a band, and we will continue to write better music. The growth of the band can be heard most evidently in the brilliant recording of 'Lost in the City', one of the most recent tracks we have written. We have continued our writing to create the live anthem 'I'm a Name, I'm a Face, I'm a Statistic'. These are the tracks we write and play.

We are an energetic and loud punk rock outfit.
